A Fallacy

Him                     His eyes have mesmerized many, But I know them the best, Jet black or ebony, They change with every sunset! Moonlight breaks through his hair, Like galaxies in the sky, And just as he smiles, I cannot help but sigh! He is quiescent, sometimes, But to me, he’s a raconteur, Sadness to him, is ephemeral, Seldom does he feel a deep sonder! He dances in the rain, Like there’s no tomorrow, Seeing him smile washes away, Any traces of sorrow!  It’s darkness without him, Except him, everyone knows, That sunlight follows him, Wherever he goes! I’ve seen him fight, To set things right, He shines brighter than the stars, And dauntless, like the night!!

Definitions...

Perfection and Perceptions Perfection’s a word undefined, Let me define it by you, It’s the way you sleep, forehead unlined, Worries fading with the night’s adieu!   The way your lips curl into a smile, The constellations in your eyes, The way you read people for books, Discerning truths behind their lies !   The way your embraces warm hearts, The melodies you sing to the rain, The way you whisper words of care, To unheeding ears, again and again! The way words flow under your pen, The ink weaving unwonted beauty, The way you let your hair down, Unafraid of vulnerability!     The way you’ve always  shared The burden of your peers, The way you tread on embers, Yet wipe all their tears!   Perfection’s a word undefined, If only perceptions were universally true, I’d say you’re a Juliet Rose, In a garden of myriad hues!
